A Waterfall Hike to Work Up an Appetite

If we didn’t have our doublewide, we’d absolutely be booking a stay at Glen Falls House. The grounds are so pretty, the food is so good, and there’s a great little low-impact hike right beside the main building that takes you to some waterfalls. Our new friends at See & Be said that you could do the hike in 20 minutes. But for us, with a 4-year-old who stops to smell every flower and an 8-year-old who examines every rock and tree, we were on the trails for closer to an hour. It was beautiful. You could definitely climb down and get closer to the falls, but we did not! We were too hungry to extend the hike, but we still felt very triumphant when we made it back to Trotwood for dinner.
